Modest Monday: Christmas Eve
Just joining the Modest Monday party? Here's the original post. Each Monday, I post a modest, stylish outfit that I wear along with some thoughts on modesty.
Why? Because I believe you don't have to sacrifice fashion for purity.
Modesty does not = frumpy.
These are outfits I really, truly wear in my day-to-day life. I'm a girl determined to live a life of purity, modesty, and plenty of style. :)
Heello, everyone! Merry Christmas Eve! (We just got back from Christmas Eve vigil Mass and I've got some presents to wrap, some treats to bake, and I'm thinking there's going to be a Doctor Who episode in there somewhere also, hopefully.) The wonderful season starts tonight and 'tis oh so exciting. Therefore, of course, today's Modest Monday was in the spirit of Christmas.
It's almost Jesus's birthday and time to celebrate.
Bring on the red!
Black heels: thrifted
Grey and black ring: Premier Jewelry
Rose veil: a Christmas present from one of my best friends - she made it herself!
Mistletoe: compliments of our yard. ;)
Love the idea of grey + black + red - very festive, yet also sophisticated!
Love, love this ring. It's sparkly, chunky, goes with anything, and adds a fabulous bit of attitude to any outfit and the day.
Simply adore this little vintage rose clip with bejeweled black tulle!
I somehow ended up looking like a modern, Christmas Snow White...not necessarily a bad thing.
Red, red, red...tis the season!
My grandmother's vintage ring.
Merry Christmas Eve once more! May you all have a lovely evening and whether you're celebrating Christmas, another holiday, or a day with your loved ones, may your morning tomorrow be merry and bright - and holy. May you feel God's precious love and peace, and spend some time with the Person that this holiday is truly about.
Love to all of you and much thanks for reading My Spare Oom!
